Happy New Year to everyone. Family Webster enjoyed their warm sunny Christmas and new year in Trinidad and Tobago. Christmas day was spent with friends eating...is 3 breakfasts too many? Curried deer and duck for dinner, yummy. Thanks to all who sent presents, Santa called by wearing shorts and T shirt! and delivered some presents for the girls funny, all of them where small and would fit easily into a suitcase!
After Christmas we went to Tobago for a week in a tree house with Mike and Rowena. It was great fun. You'll see some pics later. Ruth and I finished off the year in style 20 meters under the sea exploring Tobago's best dive sites. As it has been over 10 years since we last dived we had quick refresher course and then headed out the reefs off Little Tobago island. It was fantastic and we saw loads of great coral, sea horses, sharks and turtles... a perfect end to our year.
Later in the week we were snorkeling and again saw 2 turtles. It was great sharing it all with Zoe and Iona, not many girls from Grange get to snorkel with turtles! Zoe was so excited.
We are back in Chaguanas now and the girls have started school. Only 3 months left of this adventure before we are back in Cumbria... planning our next trip!
Wishing all our friends and family a peaceful 2009. x
