Hanuman Murti

85 ft tall Hanuman Murti

What to do on a Friday afternoon after school...a trip to India?

We packed up our picnic and drove 20 minutes down the road to visit an amazing Hindu temple and Hanuman Murti. The photos do not do it justice. We spent an hour in the peaceful grounds of the temple just admiring the beauty of the artwork and decoration of the temple. Iona and Zoe loved the huge elephants and Hanuman. It was definately not Grange.
The girls have had tests all last week at school and those that turn up seem to be doing craft and colouring all this week. It is countdown to the Christmas holidays school plays, parties etc. It has been a long term with no break since September so everyone id ready for a rest.
We are looking forward to welcoming Michael and Rowena this week who are coming for a warm sunny Christmas on the beach...anyone want to join us?
I went back to the immigration office today to extend our visas, returned with an appointment for February!
All is well in the Caribbean, 32 oC again...
