The Nature Resrve at the oil refinery.
Thanks for all the E-cards, real cards and presents that arrived or came with us.Iona had a good birthday, we went to an oil refinery for the day...well a nature reserve in the middle of a refinery. It was an oasis of calm and we have taken out an annual membership so we can return whenever we need to escape Chaguanas. We saw lots of birds, lizards and a snake. We had a private viewing of a wildlife film in the air conditioned visitor centre but we all fell asleep apart from Zoe.
Iona had Niomi and Hannah round to the house for a party tea and games and a water fight! Iona wanted a boogie board for her Birthday, she will get to try it out next week when we go to tobago for the week.
Other news, the girls are progressing well with swimming and have now started gymnastics. Ruth goes out runnng through drains and gutters on a Monday night and David has started playing squash.
