Here we are just a few days before we depart for 10 months in Trinidad. We are going as part of the Experience Exchange Programme run by the Anglican/Methodist Churches. We will be living in the town of Chaguanas supporting the work of Michael and Helen Chatfield an Anglican vicar who has been working there for the last 3 years. They have two daughters, Niomi and Hannah, who are a similar age to Zoe and Iona- instant friends, brilliant!
We are looking forward to living in a new community and sharing in the life of the church. Who knows what adventures lay ahead. One thing is sure, we will make the most of this very precious time away together.
One good thing about going away is that it is agood excuse for a leaving party...another classic Webster event, see photos. Thanks to all who came and helped out, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.Looking forward to the welcome home bash, I'll book the steel band!
We will update this blog regularly so you can follow our adventures.
As they say in Trini, 'I does Flex Positively'
