Last weekend we all went to Birmingham to find out more about the Experience Exchange Programme (EEP) run by the Methodist and Anglican churches.It is our first small step to deciding what we are going to do in our long awaited 'Gap year'. (Some have suggested a gap year for David would be doing a real job for 12 months)
We have decided on a time to depart, May 2008, but as yet we are not exactly sure where....our criteria are quite simple - sunshine,safe,culturally diverse, and enjoyable (Tonga for example).
The weekend was a great challenge and made us stop and think of why we are going.The EEP ticks all our boxes so to speak and we will explore this further, watch this blog
